Al-Sawda Sports Hall (Saleh)

This project involved the complete surfacing of the Al-Sawda indoor sports hall in Hama. Designed as a highly versatile multi-sport facility, the hall is fully equipped and dimensioned to host basketball, handball, volleyball, and badminton.

To meet the rigorous demands of multi-sport competition, the flooring system utilizes a premium layered approach to ensure maximum athletic comfort, safety, and longevity:

• Rubber Undercarpet: A specialized shock-absorbing rubber base layer was installed directly over the subfloor. This critical layer reduces the impact on athletes' joints and helps prevent fatigue and injuries during high-intensity play.
• Polyurethane Top Coat: The surface was finished with a seamless, highly durable polyurethane liquid coating. This provides optimal friction, a perfectly flat aesthetic without joints, and extreme resistance to wear and tear.
• Multi-Sport Markings: Precision court lines were measured and painted in distinct colors for all four sports, allowing the facility to seamlessly transition between different athletic events.
