ElSikkar Football Fields

The ElSikkar Football Field project in Homs City, Syria, was successfully completed in 2010. This specialized sporting facility consists of three dedicated training football fields originally designed as an outdoor football pitch setup.

To maximize usability throughout the year, the pitches feature a striking arched canopy structure, providing a premium semi-indoor training environment that protects athletes from extreme sun and rain.

Built to a smaller square footage specifically tailored for 5-a-side and fast-paced training drills, the fields prioritize performance and safety. The playing surface features a comprehensive synthetic turf system:

• Two-Tone Synthetic Grass: The surface utilizes high-density synthetic artificial grass, laid out in alternating light and dark green stripes to assist with spatial awareness.
• Rubber Infill: To ensure optimal shock absorption and protect players' joints during intensive use, an SPR (SBR) rubber infill was heavily integrated into the turf matrix.
